Chuck was one of main protagonists in The Return of the Living Dead. He was part of the group of punks and one of the few survivors until himself and the others got nuked. He was portrayed by John Philbin
He and his friends party in a cemetery whilst waiting for Freddy. He later tries to hit on Casey but is rejected yet again.
When looking for Tina he witnessed Tarman kill Suicide. When they barricade the basement Chuck states that Suicide is alive( expressing denial) showing how much Chuck cares about his friend.
He and Casey run to the building yet again when him and his friends are attacked by the dead.
He and Casey tried to call then police but a zombie rips out the phone. Chuck barricades the door while Casey runs away in fear.
In the novel he and Casey have sexual intercourse after Chuck finally expresses his feelings.
When Spider and Burt reach the building Chuck and Spider have a heartwarming meeting. He,Burt,Spider and Casey go down to the basement to get to the phone only to find Suicides corpse.
Burt calls the army only to be told that the army have a plan to rescue them. But the real plan was to nuke the neighborhood and Chuck along with the other survivors ours are burnt in the explosion.
